Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide the best services to our recycle partners. We will challenge current processes and find the best possible ways to protect our Earth’s resources. We will strive to find new ways to divert products from landfills and provide a safer, cleaner and greener world for generations to come.
About Us
We incorporated in 2008. Our name changed to Always Green Recycling, Inc. in January 2009. Cliff and Sara Roberts started Always Green Recycling, Inc. with a Chevrolet Blazer, small utility trailer and 40 totes purchased from a local hardware store. Within 6 months two more trucks were purchased and three full time employees added. As of 2021, Always Green Recycling, Inc. has over 8,000 customers and we recycle and compost over 2000 tons of material each month. We are a woman and veteran owned company. We are an equal opportunity company with an emphasis of hiring veterans.
Holiday Schedule
Closed: New Years Day • Memorial Day • Fourth of July • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day
If one of the listed holidays occurs Monday through Thursday, recycle pickup days will occur one day later than normal after the holiday. This will also affect all pickup days following in that week. If your schedule pickup is on Friday then your pickup day will occur on Thursday. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the schedule will not be affected.
Example below:
Holiday-temporary pickup day:
- Monday – Tuesday
- Tuesday – Wednesday
- Wednesday – Thursday
- Thursday – Friday
- Friday – Thursday
Other holidays such as: Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Good Friday or Veteran’s Day will not affect your recycle pick up.
Snow Schedule
If inclement weather causes unsafe conditions on the roads for our employees and others on the road we will reschedule your pickup to when it is feasible to do so. Usually the pickup will be the next day or within the same week depending on the weather/road conditions. As always you can all us with any questions

Recycling has a personal benefit; it gives us a chance to align our values and our actions, which feels good, and inspires us to do more. Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved.
